The That's The Badger Comedy Club return after a break for a brand new run of top stand-up at TC's.A popular B'ham Uni haunt, the fact that much of the audience were still in their teens proved good material for 31 year old Terry Alderton.
Having scooped a part in the recent series of TV fire fighting drama, London's Burning (renamed "London's Smouldering" by Alderton due to the lack of actual blazing infernos), Tez is back doing what he does best - stand-up comedy.
Following a solid set by stocky 'lorry driver' Kevin McCarthy and a quick-fire appearance by resident compere Simon Lipscomb, the smiling Alderton proved an impressive mimic with spot-on impressions of Nigel Benn, Steptoe & Son and Bagpus.
His impersonations of Lee Evans and Julian Clarey in particular were so close it was scary!
Recalling the halcyon days of Ibiza, he used the badly bruised mic' to recreate daft DJ antics, and even took at pop at infamous former Brum nightspot, The Dome.
As the faulty microphone crackled and burped, Alderton soldiered on earning the applause of all in attendance kicking the Badger's new season off to a great start.
