PART 1
Evgenia falls and hurts her ankle. The mess phone rings and
Sicknote answers, it's Nick and he explains to Sicknote that
Evgenia fell and that they're waiting for a doctor. He also needs
someone to look after Costas so that he can go to work. Sicknote
suggests Jean. He then rings Jean to tell her that he's
volunteered her to look after Costas for the day.
The Watch clean the appliances in the yard as Geoff is making the
most of being in charge, until Nick arrives and Pit Bull is
having fun of taking the mick out of Geoff and Jack. He calls
Jack a Jonah, which he lives to regret later.
Geoff later is in his office, filing all of the paperwork as Nick
enters the Sub's office. He informs Geoff that a new Sub has been
appointed but he has no details on who it is as of yet.
Pit Bull goes to leave the station, but Jack stops him, asking
for a word. They go over to a room outside, as Nick watches out
of his window. Pit Bull leaves the room, holding his face and
Jack leaves a while after, shaking his hand. He had punched Pit
Bull!
The bells go down and it's another call to... St. Hughs. Yet
again there is no sign of a fire and this time Nick is taken to
the phone. Recall then notices a security camera on the wall,
which hadn't been spotted before. Some of the Watch members go to
the security office and watch through the tapes. Recall wonders
what Geoff and Cling Film are talking about as they watch them on
a screen, then does a brilliant impressing of Cling Film. The man
who was doing the 999 hoaxes is spotted and the security guard
recognises him from Maintenance, but doesn't know his name. The
man is then spotted at the front entrance and Nick radios
Sicknote, telling him to not let the man get away. The Watch
catch up with the man, who is then taken to an office.
PART 2.
At the end of the shift, Nick approaches Jack about what happened
with Pit Bull but doesn't ask him directly. George and Kelly
discuss Cyril and Beattie meeting up at theirs, although George
isn't too keen.
Geoff goes to his solicitor after he received a letter from
Patti's as she is demanding that he sells the house so she gets
half of the value.
Jenny arrives at Sandra's, where she blames the affair on
herself. She explains to Sandra that she persued him and that
things were over between the two of them. Sandra hates herself
because she doesn't know how John felt about her when he died.
Billy and Steph talk in bed and Billy talks about imagining that
Hallam is still alive and that he would appear and shout at him
for not doing something right. Steph then tells him that she
understands and that she still thinks that her dead dog is alive.
Billy moans that it isn't the same and that she doesn't have a
clue, before leaving.
Jack meets Stephen outside his school. Jack asks Stephen whether
the school are ok with him going out for the day. They talk about
his friends and their parent's boring jobs and Stephen reveals
that most of them think that Ian is his dad. They later go to
McDonalds, where Stephen asks about Hallam being killed, then
reveals to Jack that he doesn't like it at the school, but hasn't
told his mum because he doesn't want to seem ungrateful.
Beattie, Cyril, Kelly and George sit around and have dinner.
Cyril explains that he used to owe people money and he always
thought about going back to Beattie and that now, he wants them
to start over again. Beattie agrees, giving him a trial.
PART 3.
A woman waters her plants and waters one above her TV, which is
left on standby. Water then drips into the TV and it explodes.
The woman's disabled husband is upstairs painting and smoke
begins to come up through the wooden floorboards. He then calls
999 and talks to a woman on control.
The Union Rep elections is discussed in the mess. Pit Bull is
currently the only one standing and no - one wants to see him as
the Union Rep. Geoff decides that he will stand. Billy suggests
that Recall should stand. The bells then go down...
The man explains to the woman on control that he is disabled and
that a lot of smoke is beginning to seep through under the door.
She tells him to place something in it's way. Nick is then
notified that the person who is in the fire is disabled. The
woman then goes back to the disabled man, who is finding it even
harder to breathe as the smoke is still pouring through. She asks
him if he can open a window. He can't reach, he then tries to
open it with something, but falls out of his chair to the ground.
A BA crew rigs up and goes in and goes straight up to the room.
Thw wife arrives home and is frantically worried about her
husband. The BA crew find the man on the floor and carry him to
the door, just as the floor in the room collapses in. The man is
taken outside and Nick enters, where the woman on control is
trying to get hold of the disabled man. Nick explains to her that
they've found him.
