PART 1


The episode starts with flashbacks from the scenes of the episode before, we then see backup arrive. The sound man is still missing inside the building and is trying to find his way out. Sicknote tells Nick that there is a possibility that the man has made his way up to the roof, so he tells him to take the ALP up.


Hallam and Geoff continue their search for the girls and cross a gantry, which is getting weaker by the minute. Jack and George are ordered to rig up and go inside the buildng in search of Hallam and Geoff, who are lost in the maze on their mission to find the missing girls.


Hallam and Geoff finally find the girls and as they're trying to make the girls follow them to lead them to safety, Hallam drops his radio. The girls are lead around the building, until they reach the gantry. Geoff goes over first with the girls, as Hallam steadies it. It begins to get looser and breaks away from the wall as Hallam is still standing on it. As the gantry dangles, Hallam hold on for dear life, before he slips to the end of it, then lets go. Falling 60ft into the basement.


Geoff quickly moves the girls on, where he finds George and Jack and tells them what happened to Hallam. They then make their way down to the basement to Hallam, as Geoff takes the girls outside.


After leaving the building, Geoff approaches Nick and informs him on what has happened. He also informs him that two of the girls are still somewhere in the building.


George and Jack find Hallam and begin to pull pieces of wood and rubble off of him, which landed on him after he fell. He's still alive, but unconscious. Other Watch members, except Geoff enter, helping to free their Sub.


The ALP goes up to the roof and brings the sound man, then the two girls down.


Hallam is taken out of the building on a stretcher, then is taken to an ambulance...


PART 2.


The Watch arrive at the station to be greeted by D.O. Chapman. He informs them that there is still no news on Hallam. Geoff remains seated in the appliance, before Nick approaches and finally gets him to get out. Chapman then reveals to the Watch that both appliances have been taken off the run.


In the hospital, Hallam is quickly rushed to theatre. Meanwhile, a Brigade Officer goes over to his house to inform Sandra, but she isn't there. We see a letter next to the phone, addresses to John.


In Scotland, Laura answers her phone to be informed on what happened to Recall as Recall lies unconscious in a hospital bed, watched by a Brigade Officer.


Chapman informs Nick that both Recall and Hallam are still unconscious. Hallam had, had emergency surgery and they still haven't been able to contact Sandra.


The next morning, Nick is woken by the sound of his phone ringing. In the dorm, Billy enters handing everyone a cup of tea. Nick and Chapman later enter, informing them that Recall has woken up, but Hallam is on a life support machine in St. Mark's hospital.


Geoff drives Hallam's car to his house, before pushing his keys through the letterbox. Sicknote arrives home and Jean immediately approaches him, after hearing two men were seriously injured. Sicknote reveals who it was.


Nick explains the shout's events to Recall, who doesn't remember very much that happened. Nick tells Recall that Laura is flying down to see him. Laura later arrives at the hospital, where she runs to Recall crying.


Sandra arrives down at her hotel's reception to be told by a receptionist that there was a call for her and that her office needs her to call them back urgently, then she points her to the phone. Sandra calls them, where she is delivered the news of what has happened to John. Sandra later leaves the hotel and drives back to London.


PART 3.


Laura arrives at Recall's house where she enters the bathroom. Noticing earrings on the side, she jumps to the conclusions that Recall is having an affair, until Billy walks through the door.


Sandra arrives at the hospital, where a doctor explains Hallam condition. He is on a room on a ventilator, Sandra enters and sits with him. She tells him about the note that she had written for him and that she realised that he was telling the truth about what happened between him and Jenny.


Meanwhile, role - call happens at Blackwall. Nick explains to the watch that Hallam is still critical after two operations.


Laura brings Sandra and Jean tea as they sit in a waiting room in the hospital. Laura explains that Recall is fine and that he should be out the next day.


Geoff enters Nick's office where Chapman and a Brigade Councillor - Sue is sitting at the desk. Geoff doesn't want to speak to the councillor and doesn't think he needs to. The bells go down and the pump only is needed for a rubbish fire.


At the hospital, Hallam arrests as Sandra frantically watches on as he dies. Sandra goes mad and screams and cries. Wanting them to carry on and try to save him.


George wakes up in his dream, as he sits at the table in the mess. He dreams that Hallam enters and turns the TV off, which was playing to himself. Then George does wake up, Hallam isn't there and the TV, which is playing Coronation Street, is still playing.


Nick is in his office with Chapman, they get a call informing them that Hallam died. Later, the pump crew arrive back from the shout to find the other Watch members, Nick and Chapman in the mess. Hallam died around 7:30pm.
