PART 1
A boy walks his dog in a park and hears shouting. He looks up at
a tree and a man is calling him, telling him to go and get help.
The bells go down at Blackwall and they are called to a man stuck
up a tree in Borough Street's area. As they arrive on scene, they
find Cling Film talking to the boy about various different
grasses. Nick orders the watch to get the ladders and they take
them to the tree. Skip goes up to find that the man is trapped by
his ankles and he explains that he was bired watching and got
stuck. The man is harnessed down and as he does, he asks Skip to
grab his camera and binoculars for him. As Skip's up there, he
looks through the lense on the camera to see that the man was
spying on the woman at the neighbouring hospital!
Beattie and Kelly are at the gym. After Beattie closes, as Cyril
had gone out driving Elkins somewhere, Kelly offers to stay and
give Beattie a hand. Beattie and Kelly go upstairs where they do
the laundry. Cyril then arrives at the gym to find smoke pouring
out of the doors. He goes in and finds that the gym is on fire.
He screams for Beattie, knowing that she's in there somewhere.
Beattie then notices that the gym is on fire and goes mad as
Kelly tries to calm her down.
In the mess, in order to attempt to cheer Billy up, Skip hands
him a can of coke, which he had shaken up before handing to him.
They then discuss Lauren whilst making the dinner and Billy
decides to now leave her alone.
The bells go down and the watch are called to a warehouse down
Wharf Road - George's gym!
Cyril stumbles out of the fire as the building blows, blowing his
car up with it. The watch arrive and they're met by Cyril, who
tells George that Beattie is inside. Kelly and Beattie then go to
the window and call down, getting the attention of George. George
then moves the appliance towards the building and ties a rope to
the window, with the help of Nick, then to the front of the
appliance. The appliance is then driven forward, breaking the
panel on the front of the window and Beattie and Kelly are taken
out as a BA crew goes in...
PART 2.
The watch leave at the end of the shift and George goes back to
the gym. He approaches a station officer, who is there with his
watch cleaning up. It is explained to George that it looks like a
professional job as something was tampered with on the boiler.
Geoff arrives at Sandra's where he talks to her about the
accident and what it felt like when people were pointing the
blame in his direction. He then tells Sandra about his job
interview for a Sub's post in Hampshire and he couldn't go
through with it, as he felt he was letting John down. Geoff then
asks Sandra's permission to go to the memorial ceremony.
Jack enters the pub and is approached by Jaffa, who wants a
private word. Jack is taken out the back, where Jaffa warns Jack
to keep away from Nicky. Nicky then opens the door, telling Jaffa
that a bloke called George wants to see him. Jack and Jaffa go
back out into the bar where George tells them that the fire was
suggested to have been deliberate. Jack points the blame at
Elkins and George suggests them all paying Elkins a visit.
Marianne informs Nick that her flight back home is at 8:25. Nick
suspects that there is someone waiting for her back home and asks
her straight. Marianne admits there is and that they've been
seeing each other for about three years.
George, Jaffa and Jack go round to Elkins' place. Elkins tells
them that he has gotten rid of Cyril and that he already has a
new car. George then informs Elkins that the police know that it
was arson and George punches Elkins and a fight starts between
all of them...
PART 3.
Nick sees Marianne off as she gets in her taxi and leaves for the
airport...
The plaque ceremony goes ahead. Sicknote starts the speaking,
before handing it over to A.C.O. Baxter who speaks for a while,
before Sicknote goes back up again. Sandra is then called up and
says a few words, before unveiling the plaque.
In the mess, Maggie talks about how nice the plaque ceremony was,
before telling Billy that Derek isn't taking no for an answer on
the proposal. She then begins to cry that she is still married to
Albie and Billy tells her that she needs to somehow find Albie.
Skip then appears in the doorway of the toilets and calls Billy
in. George later enters the mess to find it empty, before Billy
calls him through to the toilets. Sicknote then enters and is
called through by George.
In an office upstairs, Carole approaches Geoff and talks about
promotion, asking him why he hasn't applied up there as a lot of
placements keep on coming up. Geoff tells her that he might do,
but then tells her that the reason why he hasn't bothered is
because the Brigade seems to have such low standards!
In the toilets, a group of the watch are all looking at the
photo's that was taken by the man who was stuck up the tree,
after Skip had taken the film out of his camera. Jack then enters
and Geoff enters a little while after and to try to get rid of
him, Skip tells Geoff that they were discussing his birthday
present so he'd better go or he'd spoil the surprise!
Jack goes upstairs to take tea and biscuits up to Nick's office,
but passes and goes straight to Carole's. As he opens the door,
he declares 'room service' and goes in and sits down with her.
Jack asks about her comment a couple of days before about the pub
doing breakfast and Carole tells him that she was only having a
pop at him and that she saw him jumping over the wall days
earlier. Jack informs Carole that he is seeing Nicky and she
tells him that she knows. Jack then asks it if it is alright with
her and if she is jealous. Carole laughs it off, making out that
she has no reason to be jealous and Jack keeps on questioning as
the tension between them grows. They nearly kiss, but are
interrupted when the bells go down and the watch get a call to St
Hughs hospital and this time it's supposedly real.
The appliances speed out of the station and backup arrives
alongside them. As the appliance reach a motorway, works on the
road are taking place. A van with a load of metal on the roof,
backs up going through the wind screen of an appliance as the
other swerves to stops and tips over and rolls down an
embankment...
