PART 1
It is thundering and raining outside, Geoff stands at the mess
window, before going down to the appliance bay. On the way down,
the roof appears to be leaking and he approaches George and Jack,
commenting on the station falling apart. He then goes onto the
gym and we see Skip laying on top of an appliance with a water
pistol, squirting the ceiling! Nick then comes down the stairs
and notices the water pistol and confiscates it, before asking
where Carole is. He then informs them that the bloke from the
Dutch fire brigade is arriving soon, so he wants them and the
station looking presentable. Nick then goes through to the multi
- gym and informs Carole and Geoff.
Bruno walks around a load of bins outside Borough Street's
station. Oldgit recognises Cling Film's posters and rings
Blackwall. The phone rings and Jack answers, before handing the
phone over to Geoff. Oldgit informs Geoff that Bruno has turned
up outside their station. Geoff asks him if they can hold Bruno
until the end of the shift, so he can then go and pick him up.
Oldgit says they can't and that their Guv'nor will go mad if he
finds out a dog is in the station. Geoff then suggests Maggie
getting Bruno, before Jack takes over the call. They make a deal,
a pump branch is missing and they'll swap one for Bruno.
Borough Street's crew later arrive at Blackwall with Bruno. Jack
takes a branch out of the appliance and then gives it to Geoff,
who hands it over in exchange for Bruno. Meanwhile, Nick is in
his office and hears barking, then notices Borough Street's
appliances driving off.
Chapman then arrives in the station, with the 'bloke' from the
Dutch fire brigade who turns out not to be a bloke at all, but
Marianne. As Chapman does the introductions and talks for a
while, Nick notices Bruno jump up at the watch room door, before
Skip and Geoff stand in front of it, hiding Bruno. Chapman then
leaves and Marianne is taken upstairs, then Nick goes towards the
watch room and he isn't pleased and sends Geoff home.
PART 2.
In a factory, a man goes through to see his boss, but beforehand
steals some money, before going to steal a mobile phone, but he
gets caught. A fight starts and his boss is thrown through a
glass window, before the man is chased throughout the factory
until he slips nears a fork lift truck and gets his legs ran
over.
Marianne and Nick talks in his office. She confesses that she did
a swap with Peter as she wanted to see what Nick's station was
like. Sicknote enters the office with some tea, as the others
crowd around the door. The bells then go down.
The watch arrive on scene to find that a man has been run down by
a fork lift truck. Marianne goes to help him, as she's a trained
nurse and knows what she's doing and Carole tends to the man who
was pushed through the window. Pressure is used to lift the fork
lift truck off of the man's legs and he is freed.
The Watch leave the station and Jack pulls up beside Carole as
she walks home and offers her a lift. Jack drops Carole off at
home just as Martin is leaving to go out. Carole offers to make
him some breakfast, but he says he's off down the road to have
some, but he tells Jack that he's welcome to. Jack tells him he's
already eaten, which doesn't surprise Martin, who then walks off
down the road. Carole then apologises for Martin's behavior.
Nick leaves Marianne at her hotel and she explains that she's
going out of trips over the next couple of days. Nick later
arrives home to find that Costas has arrived over from Cyprus.
Skip is threatened in the fym by Mr. Elkins, who gets the wrong
idea about Skip helping Mrs. Elkins on a machine.
PART 3.
Nick gives Marianne a tour of the training centre, where the
students are practising drills, he then takes her through to the
control centre, which takes calls for all of the Borough's in the
area. He notices that Blackwall gets a call. Nick drops Marianne
off at her hotel, when she informs him that she's due to go back
to Holland the next day, but she doesn't have to go back, so she
tells Nick that she may stay in London for a little while longer.
Marianne asks if they can meet up again and Nick tells her that
he'll call her. Marianne then invites him up to her room, but he
says he can't as he has work the next day and he should be going
home.
Jack sits at the bar, flirting with the bar maid Nicky, before
offering to give her a hand. Jack later closes the pub and kisses
Nicky...
The next morning, Carole spots Jack jumping over the fence of the
pub. Sicknote drives past the building site where, Hallam died on
his bike.
Recall is having a day off for Pit Bull's hearing, where he
denies the charge. At the hearing, Chapman explains the situation
as told by Fire fighter Warren. Pit Bull, who luckily enough,
doesn't already have a record, gets a £700 pay stoppage and is
given a warning.
Jack enters the mess where the Watch are discussing what it
possibly going on with Nick and Marianne. Sicknote then brings up
the subject of driving past the site where Hallam fell to dis
death and suggests a memorial.
At a hospital, some men are working on clearing certain things. A
transformer is hoisted down from the roof, but gets stuck on
scaffolding. A man on the roof tells a man below to climb up a
ladder to try to move it, but he drives his van up to it and
attempts to move it, without any luck. The scaffolding then
begins to move away from the wall and the transformer falls,
going through the roof of the van and the man is inside...
The watch arrive on the scene of the accident, to be informed
that a 200 watt transformer had crached through the roof of the
van. Carole talks to the man inside the van and assures him that
they're going to get him out. Borough Street arrive as back up
and Jack sneeks over to their appliance and takes back the pump
branch. Meanwhile, the man in the van begins to go quiet and
Carole holds his hand, asking him to squeeze her hand. She asks
him where it hurts, but he can't feel anything. His hand goes
limp, then he dies...
