Tate arrives to Area HQ, he opens the door to the waiting room, but spots Scase in there, so he waits outside!
The Watch walk to the station and noticed that a premises had burned down over night. It is pointed out that the premises was more than likely deliberately torched so that insurance money could be claimed as the Docklands Development Board are looking into taking over a lot of buildings in the area.
Bayleaf welcomes Josie back after she has completed her Junior Oficers course at Southwark, as the other Watch members mess with her toilet, so when she goes in and flushes it, she gets soaked!
Jaffa approaches Sicknote about singing at his Gran's 90TH Birthday party, but Sicknote states that he doesn't feel like singing at the moment and that he can only sing when Jean is playing the piano. But he and Jean aren't currently on speaking terms!
Charisma reveals to Jaffa that his grandad used to do a magic show act, known as the Great Marvello and he reveals that he can also do some magic. Jaffa tells Charisma that he's on at his Gran's party and Charisma look a bit worried! Charisma then continues to bore the Watch all day about his grandad!
Scase is the first to be seen by Area Commander Bulstrode, who is not in a good mood! Bulstrode points out that Scase screwed by because he had no confidence in his Station Officer.
Dorothy goes to a bar, owned by an old school friend Bev Clayton, where she asks about the job for a Cocktail Waitress. Bev doesn't want to give Dorothy the job, telling her that he doesn't think she's suitable. But Dorothy pleads with him, revealing that she is desperate for cash.
Tate is sent through to Bulstrode's office, where he tries to justify being insubordinate and listens to Scase's moaning report. Bulstrode threatens to either transfer Tate to the North-east area or dismiss him.
Nancy goes around to Jean's in an attempt to talk to her about Sicknote, telling Jean that he is ill. Jean points out that Sicknote is just jealous because she has a lead role in the production and he doesn't.
Charisma first asks Josie to be his assistant at Jaffa's Gran's party, but the answer is obviously no! He then approaches Maggie, who slaps him after he states that she probably looks pretty attractive under her overalls!
A Brigade driver arrives at Blackwall and has been sent from Area Staff to collect Scase's gear, as Scase is being transfered to the North-east area!
Nancy and Tate go out for a meal. Nancy points out how Bulstrode has known Tate for years and he knows how he operates. They also discuss Jean and Nancy reveals that she doesn't think that Jean is having an affair with Dominic. Nancy then brings up that she is thinking about leaving Control and transfering to Staff, where she will get to visit job centres and schools.
Josie's parents join her for a meal, where she talks to them about the Junior Officers course. Her mum isn't happy and thinks it's all a load of feminist nonsense.
The next shift, Charisma walks into the mess wearing his grandad's old suit. He does an act in front of the Watch, where he announces that he is to do an act at Jaffa's Gran's 90TH. For a certain act, he gets Josie to blindfold him and he tells the Watch that he needs complete silence, so they all leave the mess in silence!
Maggie arrives late to Jaffa's Gran's 90TH and nearly falls on Charisma, revealing she took a couple of valium's and gin because of her nerves! Charisma later does his act, but Jaffa's Gran isn't impressed. But she does laugh when Maggie trips and falls head first into the Birthday cake!
A cafe owner deliberately burns down his cafe, thinking that Ernie, the old man who lives in the flat upstairs, has now gone to live with his sister in Epping.
In the dorm, Sicknote continues to moan about Jean's duties as a wife, as Vaseline agrees and Josie tries to argue in her defense. The bells go down and the Watch quickly run around the corner, as they realise the cafe is ablaze.
Ernie wakes up to find flames coming up through the wooden floor boards. The Watch later find him unconscious at the top of the stairs and Josie has to crawl across a wooden beam to get to him.
The next day, Sicknote attempts to sleep, as Jean and Dominic reherse downstairs. Sicknote ends up getting up and starting a fight with Dominic!
Later that day at Blackwall, Sicknote reveals he has left Jean and needs a place to stay. All eyes are on charisma!
Tony finds Hallam in the gym, where he announces that he has been called as a witness in the Maddox case.
Vaseline to Josie after she enters the dorm after being soaked by the 'fixed' toilet...
Bayleaf to Vaseline after Charisma continues to go on about his grandad and mentions that he used to make balls disappear...
Scase is sitting in Bulstrode's office; attemping to get his attention...
