PART 1
A radio is playing, the presenters are talking about the Russian
Satellite that has fallen out of orbit and the chances of it
hitting earth...
Charlie opens his new chippie - Charlie's Plaice. Dom walks out
of his chippie - Fish Heaven, which is on the opposite side of
the street.
Mick is at home and Shauna is running around dressed as an Indian
playing with Liam.
Sally arrives home and sits down, pulling a pregnancy test out of
a bag.
Frank sits in a pub drinking and smoking.
Adam meets DI Roebuck and gets in his car, looks at photographs
of Jimmy Watts.
In the mess... Craig talks about satellite's telling the watch
about one which hit a part of Canada where no - one really lived,
then says if one hit London it would have devastating effects.
Charlie brings up the conversation what everyone would do on
their last day? He said he'd drink himself stupid, Geoff says he
wouldn't, he'd try to do something to make the most of it. Mick
says he'd take Shauna and Liam up to the lakes. Sally is asked as
she leaves the mess. Mick follows then Frank later leaves the
mess...
Sally sits on her bed in her part of the locker room, looking at
the pregnancy test - she's pregnant. There's a knock, it's Mick,
Sally quickly puts the test in her locker. Mick asks her if all
the money for the ticket's to the ball has been paid in. Sally
says they have. Mick asks for the money and she goes to her
locker to get it but stops, remembering the pregnancy test
inside. She makes up an excuse and tells Mick she'll bring him
the money later.
Mick walks out and over to Frank in the lockers and asks him if
everything is alright between him and Sally. Sally then walks out
of her locker area and Mick goes silent then begins to cover what
he was saying by thanking Frank for telling him about the
pressure of the tyres. Sally approaches Frank after Mick leaves,
asking him if she can talk to him later because it's important.
The bells go down...
The appliances arrive at a fire at a block of flats, other
station's are already there. Mick gives out orders and is told by
Station Officer Adams of another station that there's a
possibility that petrol is being stored in one of the flats.
Sally and Frank enter the building...
A police officer questions one of the occupants, who admits that
he's holding petrol in his flat and it's number 51 on the 5TH
floor. Mick radioes the watch who are inside, warning them on the
petrol.
Frank radioes for assistance in the fire and Sally goes ahead and
kicks the door down to flat number 51. There's up to 20 petrol
holders inside. Sally begins to move the petrol out to the
balcony and Frank throws them down on a rope to George who is
below. Adam comes out onto the balcony telling Frank that the top
floor has been evacuated and the fire is spreading so they need
to get out fast.
Geoff and Craig talk as they walk through the flats. Geoff can
hear the fire building up and quickly pushes Craig to the floor
as there's an explosion. Various other explosions go off and
there are screams from outside. Mick radioes Frank and there's is
no response for a while, then him and Sally walk out. Frank then
walks away and towards the man who was holding the petrol and has
a go at him.
Frank and Adam shower... Adam then asks Frank if there's any news
on Jimmy...
In the lockers... George talks to Geoff about him wanting
sponsors for the marathon he's running, then about him always
pulling out at the last minute. Geoff stresses that last time he
had a bad case of diarrohea and he couldn't run if he was
dehydrated. Charlie gives George a leaflet for his chippie
opening, which he screws up.
Adam enters the toilets and talks on his mobile phone in a
cubicle, to Roebuck. He tells him what's happening with Jimmy
then Roebuck tells him what to do with the wires that he has to
wear to capture what Jimmy says.
In Mick's office... Shauna tolds lobster's in front of Mick, he
opens his eyes and is surprised, asking her if she's still taking
her medication. She's annoyed that he thinks she's mad because
she wants to cook them a 'special' dinner. Mick's phone then
rings and he answers...
At the London Fire Brigade Headquarters... Mick approaches D.O.
Ross and asks him what it's all about being called to HQ. Ross
shows him a letter about evacuation procedures...
At a bar... Jimmy talks to Adam about being able to trust him
before he starts dishing out jobs. Frank is there, then leaves...
Sally at the doctor's... The doctor tells her that she is
definitely pregnant, then asks her if she's sure she wants the
termination...
At the bar... Adam asks Jimmy what kind of jobs he would be
doing... He then leaves and meets Roebuck in his car, telling him
he's out and that he doesn't want to get involved...
PART 2.
At HQ... Dexter Ross and Mick talk about the possibility of the
satellite hitting London. Dexter tells Mick to keep it to himself
and not to tell the watch, although Mick thinks they have a right
to know.
At Charlie Plaice... Craig keeps on going on about the
satellite's. Geoff and Fiona eat some fish and chips and Charlie
and Lisa serve. Lisa explains that she's filling in for the other
person who couldn't work. Geoff asks who is looking after her
children and she tells him that they're spending a couple of days
with their dad. Dom walks in and angrily throws a load of
leaflets in, which Charlie had made trying to get business away
from Dom's place and to his. They argue and Charlie ends by
telling him that in his eyes, he's no longer his brother.
Frank arrives at Sally's with flowers and asks her to hear him
out, she angrily asks him to hear her out and tells him she's
pregnant...
Mick tells Shauna that her news that she's 5 weeks pregnant is
fantastic. Shauna goes onto say that she got rid of the lobsters
and set them free in the Thames. Mick talks about going to the
doctor's to discuss her medication then she tells him she stopped
in the morning as soon as she found out she was pregnant. Shauna
asks why HQ wanted him to go down and he tells her it was
nothing, just a boring meeting.
Sally tells Frank that she has no intention of having their baby,
then asks him to leave...
Andie gives George his dinner and they talk about the amount of
time they have before she is 'Mrs. Green'.
Craig is on the computer at the station, on the Internet looking
at satellite, asteroid crashes. Dexter enters, asking what he is
doing, then checks to see if he should be on duty.
Adam checks his answer phone, Elaine has left a message. The
phone then rings and Adam thinks it is Elaine, but it's Jimmy...
Frank is outside somewhere smoking as a man and woman fight.
Frank approaches them and punches the man, then punches another
bloke who is standing nearby. He then throws the keys out of the
car and rings Jimmy on his mobile to tell him 'it's done'.
The radio is playing again with the presenters talking about the
Russian Satellite...
Sally throws up...
Mick arrives at the station in his car with Shauna, who then
leaves to go somewhere. Mick asks George why he looks so happy
with himself and George tells Mick that they'll all find out
later. Geoff approaches Mick asking if he can have a word. Mick
tells him that he is busy, but Geoff says it's urgent. As they
walk up the stairs towards the mess, Geoff talks about the state
of the cutlery in the mess, that they are short and the only
possible candidate for them going missing is Charlie with his new
'restaurant'.
In the mess... Craig is still going on about satellite's and is
told to shut up by Charlie. Mick notices Frank's hand from where
he'd punched people, asking him if he's been making new friends.
Geoff still goes on about the cutlery, so Mick asks Charlie if
he's taken it, he confesses straight away and is told to put them
all back.
Mick leaves the mess, followed by Geoff, then Sally, who asks to
have a word over some urgent matter. But Mick tells her that he's
busy and will call her later.
Geoff enter's Mick's office where Mick tells him about the
satellite, which could crash down on London and the south - east.
They talk about telling the watch, even though Mick had strict
orders from the D.O. not to.
The watch line up for role - call, Mick tells them the news,
telling them that it is highly classified information and they're
not allowed to tell anyone, not even their friends or families.
The satellite could break through the atmosphere to south - east
England - London included. It could contain Plutonium and if it
is to hit, it will be between 2 and 9am the next morning - during
their shift. Evacuation is questioned, but Mick tells them that
there is no time.
Drill in the yard... Sally and Frank step forward and run up the
watch tower as Mick puts Adam and George on standby with a hose.
Frank decides to annoy Sally by walking up the watch tower as she
arrives to the top shouting to clear from below, then she threw
the rope bag down. She asks for the hose, but Mick tells her to
wait for her partner - Frank, who just arrives to the top. Sally
is annoyed with Frank, who tells her he wanted to talk to her on
the way up. She tells him angrily that she'll never have his
baby, not even if he held a gun to her head.
PART 3.
E441 leaves the station to a house, which has a hole in it's
roof, made by some foreign object. The occupants think that it is
part of the satellite and say it's going to come down. Geoff
orders Adam to get a chemical suit on, but he won't.
In the mess... Sally is sure that the satellite will never crash
down. Craig asks Mick why he told them and he tells him that he
thought that they had a right to know.
In the house... George picks up the object, which is actually
dumped waste from an plane.
In the lockers... The watch are getting ready for the charity
ball. Adam is not going, he tells Frank that he is going to see
Jimmy. Frank approaches Sally, asking her about the position of
his bow tie, she tells him the best position is up his arse.
In Mick's office... Shauna tells Mick that she's not ready to go
and is worried that she'll only embarass him. The phone ring's,
it's the D.O...
On the stairs... Mick walks towards them all, telling them that
the D.O. was on the phone and that the ball has been cancelled
because there is a flood in the venue. Craig is sure it's to do
with the satellite. They all decide to go over to the Twist where
George offers to buy the first round...
In the Oliver Twist... Charlie approaches Geoff, telling him that
if the satellite did hit, he'd get off of his marathon run. Mick
approaches Sally about not being able to talk to her earlier, but
she tells him it's not the right time to talk. He then tells her
that he's always there for her to talk to.
Frank approaches Shauna who tells him to keep away from her,
revealing she's pregnant. Frank asks if he's the father. Shauna
tells him that he can't be and she won't allow him to be.
In the men's... Frank enters, aknowledging Mick. Mick tells Frank
that Shauna is pregnant and Frank can sense that Mick isn't sure
if Shauna could deal with it. Frank talks to him, telling him
that it might be good for Shauna to have something to focus on.
In a bar... Jimmy stares at Adam who begins to feel
uncomfortable, then when Jimmy goes to get him a brandy, he
leaves...
In the Oliver Twist... Lisa asks Charlie whether he thinks kids
should have a father figure in their lives or if a mum is enough.
He says he doesn't know at first, then changes his mind, telling
her that his dad left them when he was young and that he's now
living in Dartford. Lisa talks him into going to see him.
George gets up on a stage at a mic and announces his engagement
to Andie. He then begins to sing 'It must be love'.
Geoff tells Fiona that he's running a marathon by himself the
next day.
Frank whispers a song request.
Roebuck hammers on Adam's front door, telling Adam that he's now
on his own.
Shauna walks out of the pub, followed by Sally who follows her
across the road to the station. They both reveal to each other
that they are pregnant. Mick approaches in the distance, Sally
asks Shauna not to tell Mick, then walks off. Shauna gets the
wrong idea, thinking Mick is the father of Sally's baby and
bursts into tears.
At the Oliver Twist... Sally enters the pub again and Frank gets
up to sing 'Eternal Flame' dedicating it to Sally, but not
directly.
At the station... Shauna talks to Mick about her and Sally
swapping babies...
At the Oliver Twist... Frank carries on singing badly...
Elaine enters Adam's flat noticing something is wrong. Adam tells
Elaine that he is in trouble and that Jimmy will kill him if he
gets hold of him and the only person who can help him is Frank,
but he's blown it with him. Elaine promises that they'll sort it
all out.
At Mick and Shauna's... Shauna has still got the idea in her head
about swapping babies. Mick tells Shauna straight, that he's
never slept with Sally so he is not the father of her baby. He
tells her they will go to the doctor's in the morning...
PART 4.
Sally and Frank at Frank's flat... Frank tells Sally that he
never used to care about anyone or himself. He hated his dad and
wished that he would die and he did, in a fire along with his kid
brother who was only 13. His mum never forgave him for that
because she knew he wanted him dead. After his mum died he got
into the bad things he did. He then told Sally that when she told
him about the baby, it was like the first time he had seen
daylight in years...
The radio plays again... Andie turns the radio off, talking about
a space ship falling on their wedding day. George tells Andie
that it is true about the satellite and that the watch are on
standby in case it does crash down.
Charlie and Lisa walks together where they see Craig, Lisa tells
Charlie that she invited him along. They spot Geoff warming up
for his run. Charlie offers to rub him down and sticks a sign on
his back 'Honk if you bonk'. Geoff leaves to run his 26.2 mile
marathon.
Sally tells Frank that she can't give up her job and that it is
already hard enough being a woman in the brigade. She tells him
that she doesn't want to have to rely on him and doesn't know if
she can trust him totally. He assures her that she can. The door
bell rings... Frank answer's the phone... it's Elaine - he lets
her up.
Geoff runs through the streets of London, receiving car horn
honk's from drivers...
Water is leaking through the ceiling in Adam's flat. He goes out
of the flat and to the person who is living above him and knocks
on the door. There is no answer so he opens the door, going
through to the bathroom. A girl is laying in the bath with the
run water as it dilutes with her blood, she's semi - conscious
and her wrists have been slit. Adam quickly stops both of the
taps and lifts her out of the bath.
Sally walks out of Frank's bathroom, noticing Elaine and Frank at
the door. Frank explains that he got Adam into the mess he is in,
so he is going to get him out of if.
Adam tries to keep the girl, who says her name is Colette, awake.
He wraps up her slashed wrists and sings 'Wonderwall' with her to
try to keep her awake, then dials 999 for an ambulance.

after him if he doesn't back off Adam.

tells her that they'll be ok with her pregnancy although she'll
suffer some side - effects. Mick's pager goes, it's HQ and he has
to go...
George and Andie arrive at the registry office. George asks her
about spending their honeymoon at home...

was 6 and Dom was 11. Dom began to boss him around when he was
younger, but he realised he was only looking out for him, doing
the job of his dad.
At HQ... Dexter approaches Mick, questioning him telling the
watch, then tells him that he would have done the exact same
thing if he was in his position. Mick asks why he's been called
and Dexter shows him a piece of paper entitled 'Emergency
Proceedings'.
At Jimmy's... Frank tells Jimmy about Roebuck making Adam get
information for him. Frank wants to take Adam's place. He's lead
through to a room and is beaten up.
Frank later arrives outside a house and coughs violently,
coughing up blood.
Sally walks through the streets of London...
PART 5.
At the registry office... George and Andie have just married...
Craig approaches Dexter, asking him why he didn't tell him about
the satellite as he is his son. Dexter tells him that he can't
treat him like his son in the brigade. Craig tells Dexter that he
doesn't think he can make it. Dexter tells him he can, he
wouldn't have let him sign up otherwise.
Geoff running...
There's a knock at Sally's door... Mick. Sally invites Mick in
and he congratulates her on her pregnancy. Mick talks about being
concerned with Shauna's pregnancy, Sally reassures him on

Adam tells Elaine that Frank has sorted everything out for him.
He then apologises for disappointing her, but she tells him that
he could never disappoint her. She then tells him that she'll
always be there for him and she'll never go away again. She tells

conversation of Charlie's chippie, telling him that it is crap,
but he'll buy it for him once he finds out the going price.
In the appliance bay... Geoff arrives to the end of his marathon,
to be cheered on by Mick, Shauna, George and Andie. They notice

The Watch arrive on scene, hearing music but not seeing anything.
A door to a building is opened and they immediately smell gas.
George goes onto control as the police arrive...
The Watch enter the building, noticing it set up for a disco,
with lights and music going. All partiers are unconscious on the
floor.
In the mess... Shauna, Andie and Elaine talk about being worried
about them all going out. Elaine seems to be more calmer than the
others, making Andie question. Elaine knows more than the 2 of
them, what it is like to loose someone. But she tells them, none
of them would be who they are if it wasn't for the brigade.
The Watch clear out the casualties as a light box begins to
rattle...
George approaches Mick, telling him that the gas has been turned
off and he's had news from the Met. There was an illegal rave
going on and the owner of the building is now fuming.
Mick goes down into the building, he tells everyone that they
have to get out. Frank hold onto the box, which looks like it
