PART 1
Sally and Frank are making the teas in the mess, Frank touches
Sally hand and she pulls back, then goes round to the mess table,
handing Mick his cup of tea, then sitting down with hers.
Craig rushes around the the kitchen area, opening the door as
Frank was there, making Frank spill his tea down himself. Craig
is highly apologetic but Frank yells at him, then Mick gets up
telling Frank to lay off of him. Then the bells go down... Frank
passes Mick muttering to keep Craig away from him.
The appliances are on the roads of London side - by - side. In
E442 Frank announces that there are roadworks in the area that
Mick suggested to go in and suggests that they go through Stepney
Green. Geoff radios Mick in E441 informing him on the possible
roadworks, but Mick tells them to follow them on route. Charlie
ends up overtaking E441 in E442 and they take Frank's route.
E441 approach the roadworks, then go to turn down another
turning...
E442 are blocked by a car in the road, then get out to move it.
They clear the road, then carry on towards the shout.
George ends up swerving when a car comes out of nowhere and
crashes into a load of rubbish on the side of the road. Mick asks
if everyone is ok, then gets out to check the appliance over and
asks Gorge to try and start her up.
Frank walks out of the fire, noticing E441 arriving and notifies
Geoff. They all notice the state of the appliance. Mick
congratulates Frank on the route then on the fire and Frank
apologises for earlier on as Sally watches on.
In the showers... Adam and Charlie notice the scratches on
Frank's back. They ask who did it, then come to the conclusions
that whoever did it must've been desperate. Sally listens in,
then Frank walks out, there's a brief moment of eye contact, with
hurt in Sally's eyes, then she walks off into her locker area.
There's a knock, Sally asks to wait a minute, then says ok. It's
Mick, he asks if he can come in. He enters, closing the curtains.
He tells her he knows, Sally asks him what he knows. He tells her
she's been there for days and that if anyone finds out he'll be
in trouble. Sally tells him she didn't know it was about him,
telling him sarcastically that it was the home she'd always
dreamt of. Mick tells her to be out by the next day.
Charlie is telling them all about the fish delivery. Craig is
walking around miserable. He is questioned, then says he must be
the only fire fighter in the whole of London who's not yet put a
fire out. George tells him it'll come soon enough.
In the appliance area.... George looks over the appliance. Mick
approaches asking how she's looking and tells George it wasn't
his fault. He then compares how quickly he could've stopped 15
years ago. Frank walks in the distance saying good night. George
then asks Mick is he's alright.
Craig approaches Frank as he leaves, apologising for earlier on.
Frank tells him to keep away and walks off...
PART 2.
In the pub... Adam asks Frank if there's anymore work. Frank
gives Adam an address of a guy called Nick, telling him that Nick
will give him a van, then he has to drive it where he's told to
take it.
Charlie talks about his 'business' and about getting the fish
from Grimsby. His mobile begins to ring, he answers, then he has
to go.
Frank approaches Sally at a music box, saying that a song is
their 'It must be love', she tells him he must be joking, then
says his song is 'I'm so vain'.
Mick is at home, doing the dishes then Shauna approaches him,
telling him he looks sexy when he's playing house wife. She
starts to dance with him reminding him when they used to go
dancing. He tells her he has stuff on her mind, she suggests
Sally, then Frank, he denies but she can tell it's Frank,
suggesting that he should try to get to know him and he actually
might like him.
At the pub... Lisa talks to Sally about Frank, saying he's
mysterious and she should look out for herself.
At the chippie... Charlie and Dom argue over the fish. Dom wants
to stay with their order in Margate but Charlie wants to change
to Grimsby, saying it'll save them money.
The next morning... A truck load of fish arrives at the station,
telling Charlie that the shop told them to send it to the
station.
Sally is in the lockers, Lisa enters asking her if she's had a
late night. Sally tells her she just wanted to have a quick sleep
before she starts as she's knackered. Lisa gets the wrong idea
completely. Charlie enters, asking the girls for a favour and
telling them that he can feed them for the next 6 weeks. Lisa
walks off, telling Charlie that Sally will do anything for a
fireman.
Adam and Frank talk about the van. Frank asks Adam if he looked
in it, Adam said no at first, then says about it being full of
cigarettes. Mick watches on from his office, then Geoff enters.
Geoff tells Mick that he's worried about Craig not fitting it
with Recall's inquiry going on. He suggests taking Criag under
his wing, but Mick says he's fine and that he'll keep an eye on
him.
Lisa enters the mess to find it covered in fish and Charlie
standing around, he admits he over - ordered.
Sally approaches Frank on the stairs demanding to know what he
said to Lisa. He says he said nothing. Then Mick appears asking
Frank if he can see him in his office. Frank walks off and Lisa
walks past Sally. Sally asks Lisa how she knows, she says she was
going out for a fag and saw them.
Mick tells Frank to take a seat, but Frank just stands. Mick
reminds Frank that they're a team and that there are to be no
more races and that he does the orders. The phone begins to ring,
Mick finally answers. It's Shauna, Mick tells Shauna he's got
someone in his office. Shauna suggests Sally, then Frank. She
asks to speak to Frank. Mick finally hands the phone over to
Frank. After Frank finished talking, Mick reminded him again that
they work as a team, then Frank says he'll see him later, looks
like he's going round for dinner.
In the mess... George opens a cupboard and some fish fall out.
Charlie and George start a fight with the fish, then Geoff
enters, moaning that they are breaching all the health and safety
laws there are. The bells go down and they all leave Lisa to
clear up.
The watch arrive on the scene of a fire, Mick orders everyone
what to do. Craig is BA'd up and George advises him on what to
do. Craig then goes in, following Frank. Craig spots a dead body,
Frank checks for a pulse then radios that they have one dead
body. Craig freezes, he can't move, Frank tries to get him to
move, then eventually radios for back - up.
PART 3.
Craig sits on the floor outside the building and the casualties
are with paramedics. Craig timidly approaches Frank, apologising.
CID arrive and a D.I. rubs in how a mess it looks and that the
watch aren't very good at saving lives. FRank talks to him,
putting his hand on his shoulder and rubbing a dirty mark down
the D.I's beige jacket. The D.I tells him to 'piss off' and Adam
then starts on him, defending Frank, Mick then steps in stopping
them.
In the showers... Adam says if he ever sees the copper again
he'll do him. Frank says he's all mouth and no action, but Adam
is certain.
Craig questions how they can all talk about fish and birds after
what's happened. Charlie tries to calm him down, then they all
sing 'Light My Fire'. Mick quietens them all down, then asks
Craig to see him in his office, then orders Charlie to get the
fish out of there tonight!
In the office... Mick asks Craig how he is and tells Craig that
everyone's first time seeing a dead body is always a shock. He
offers to help him and Craig says he doesn't need any help,
before leaving.
Mick leaves his office, asking Frank if he's ready to go. First
Frank gives a number to Adam, telling him to ring it. Sally
approaches Adam, saying it's his round.
In the mess... Charlie is standing looking miserable, then points
to Lisa a tea towel with a fish on top saying 'Charlie Mead
sleeps with the fishes' in newspaper cuttings. Lisa suggests it
might be George then she laughs saying she thinks he's sweet. She
then tells he that she has a brother with a van who could help
him.
At the pub... George and Craig play pool. George tells him that
he'll be out of a job in 6 months if he's not careful. He then
asks him why he thinks they sung, then tells him they did it for
him. Craig admits he doesn't think he's cut out for the job.
At Mick and Shauna's... Shauna passes Frank, then Mick a beer.
She asks Frank if he's married then if he has a girlfriend. Then
assumes that he must've left a trail of broken hearts behind him.
At the pub... Adam asks Sally when she started smoking, then
Sally brings up that she thinks Frank is dodgy and that it's
weird him going to Mick's for dinner. Adam says he thinks he's
alright and that nothing is going on, he then gets up to meet a
guy, Phil, at the bar.
In Mick and Shauna's kitchen... Shauna explains to Frank that
Mick always reads Liam's bedtime story. Franks compliments her,
saying she has a nice family. Shauna asks him to help her, she
gets up on a stool to put a dish on a shelf, then Frank helps her
down. There is an eye contact lock between them, then Mick begins
to talk as he walks in the hall. He explains that Liam is
excited, then tells Frank that they're going to West Ham the next
day.
At the pub... Adam talks to Phil about work...
In Mick's house... Mick comes downstairs after taking Shauna up,
he explains that she never could take her drink. Mick and Frank
talk. Mick tells Frank that he was too hard on Craig and that his
father might be pushing him into the job. Frank says he's seen
people freeze before but never like that.
At the pub... Craig moans to Sally and Adam about Frank. Sally
tells him that Frank is a bastard and to take no notice of him.
Sally takes a piece of paper off of Adam, asking him who is it.
He says it isn't a woman, it's business. He gets it off of her,
telling her she's wasted. She denies it, saying she's just a bit
merry. Frank arrives and Adam moans at him as he's been waiting
hours for him. Craig approaches Frank, asking why he has it in
for him, Frank tells him to go away nicely at first, then tells
him to 'piss off'. They walks over to Sally, who is completely
out of it and help her up.
Outside the station... Charlie and Lisa lift the fish onto the
van. Charlie thanks her. Then a taxi pulls up and Sally leeps out
yelling 'I ran away from home' before falling backwards. Lisa
explains to Charlie that her flat mate chucked her out. Then says
she'll take Sally home with her.
Mick gets into bed, asking Shauna why she invited Frank round.
Shauna suggests that they role - play. Her play herself and he be
the 'Other man'.
Craig is driving in his car...
Frank and Adam stop near a car. Adam is carrying a bottle of
alcohol and Frank takes it off him and begins to make a petrol
bomb.
Craig keeps on seeing visions of the dead body in his mind as
he's driving, he then crashes his car...
Adam throws the bomb at the car, then Frank runs, calling Adam to
follow. The D.I. then walks out of his house yelling down the
street at them.
PART 4.
Mick takes Liam out in the car to the West Ham match. Frank
watches from his car, then gets out as they go and knocks on
their door. He asks Shauna for Mick, she tells him that he's gone
out for the day. Frank tells her that he promised Mick some
tools, he goes in the house. They walk through to the kitchen,
Frank thanks Shauna for a lovely evening the night before. She
asks him if he wants a coffee... tea... then murmurs about juice,
then Frank takes hold of her arm. Moving his hands up her top and
begind to kiss her...
At the hospital... D.O. Ross talks to Mick as Craig lays on the
bed, he ends up leaving, leaving Mick to talk some sense into
Craig.
In the mess... Mick talks to George about the football as Frank
watches on, Adam asks to talk to Frank, but he says he's busy.
Sally thanks Lisa in the kitchen area as she's letting her stay.
Charlie asks Lisa if she'd like to go out somewhere with him.
Sally and Frank are in the gym. Frank comments that she looks
happy and she says she is and that her life seems to be getting
sorted. She then says to forget about what happened between them
and to move on.
In the mess... George tells Mick that the mother of the dead boy
from the fire is downstairs and wants to speak to someone. Craig
gets up, looking at Mick who nods, then he goes downstairs.
Craig introduces himself to the mother, who touches his face then
cries in his arms.
In the mess... Geoff tells Mick that the D.I's car was torched.
Adam asks about whitnesses and Geoff says he doesn't know about
any.
Outside the mess... Sally apologises to Mick, saying that she's
been out of line lately and she's sorry. Mick accepts her
apology.
Adam approaches Frank on the stairs, asking loudly what they'll
do. Frank walks away downstairs and Mick approaches him asking if
everything is ok. Frank says it is, then begins to talk, saying
he is the last person he should tell, but he's slept with Sally a
'few times' but they've finished now. Mick tries to keep a
straight face, trying not to show any emotions...
