PART 1
The watch have a training drill in the yard, Adam doesn't do it
properly and him and Sally end up loosing and arguing about it.
Mick tells them both to grow up, then Sally approaches Mick as he
walks off. Questioning how she can work with Adam, Mick tells her
he expects more of her, which Sally questions.
Adam tells the watch that he's got a job driving a stripper
around, who Frank later tells him to keep quiet about.
Sally is asked whether she wants to join the guys for a drink and
doesn't like the idea until she realises that Mick is going and
gives in.
George reveals that the new boy is the D.O.'s son after Charlie
brings up about winding him up.
Adam arrives at the stripper's house and drives her to the club.
Sally and Mick talk at the bar in the Twist. She asks him if she
can ask him a question, then Shauna appears.
In the strip club Carol is doing her act as Adam watches on (see
quotes...).
Shauna tells the watch how she thinks she knows them so well
already as Mick has said a lot about them all. Frank asks Sally
to play pool with him, then asks how about what is it like coming
face - to - face with 'The competition', she tells him where to
go then walks off.
Sally stands in front of a mirror in the toilets smoking and
applying her make - up as Shauna enters. She moans about it being
smokey out in the pub and that it irritates her eyes. She asks
Sally if she can tell her something, she then goes onto say that
she thinks she's amazing, being able to work with the guys in a
demanding job and still look great. They talk about spare time
and Sally reveals she also does a class down at the sports
centre.
Sally goes back out into the pub, finishes her drink then leaves.
Carol asks Adam why he's not tried it on yet as they walk back to
her house.
Shauna lights up a cigarette and talks to the guys. Mick then
says he thinks they should go, Shauna argues for a bit, then
eventually goes with him.
Sally arrives at a club and approaches Debbie and Fraser. Sally
dances with Fraser and then some random bloke, who touches her,
then she hits him. Then Fraser starts on him and Sally walks off,
past Debbie and towards the toilets.
Debbie enters the toilets asking Sally if she's ok and to open
the cubicle door. Sally is crying and eventually opens the door.
She moans about hitting boys in clubs, then admits she's in love,
she sees him everyday but she can't have him because he's already
taken.
PART 2
Sally enters a supermarket, as does Craig. She guys a bottle of
Evian and painkillers.
Adam says to the guys quietly that he thinks Lisa will be sacked
by the end of the week. Charlie notices George's shirt moving,
but George thinks he's just being an idiot.
Sally arrives outside the station and Craig is behind her.
The watch are lined up for role - call. Mick tells Charlie his
tunic looks a mess and says he looks like he's battered cod in
it. Mick then goes on to introduce Craig Ross to the watch and
assigns Sally to look him around.
Mick approaches Sally, asking her if it's ok with her to show
Craig around, her being a friendly face. Sally questions if he
assigned her because she's a woman, Mick said it never crossed
his mind.
In the mess... Charlie enters telling them to look in his paper.
Him and his brother's chippie is in the paper, supposedly the
best chippie in the East end of London. The paper only mentions
Dominic Mead, as the watch notice.
Craig approaches George on the stairs, telling him that Sally
asked him for a 'Long Stand' for the hoses. George tells him to
wait there and he'll go and get him one.
Craig is still standing in the same place, Mick approaches him,
asking him what he's doing (See quotes).
In the mess... Charlie moans about his name not being mentioned
in the newspaper. They talk about jobs, George helping Andie with
the books in the gym, then Geoff corrects that George is part
owner. Lisa then brings up that she has another job doing phone
sex.
Craig enters Mick's office. Mick asks him how he is finding it so
far, then tells him that he will not get any special treatment
and will be treated the same as everyone else. Craig keeps on
calling him sir, then before he leaves Mick tells him that only
Pearce calls him 'sir'.
In the dorm... Charlie sneeks up on George, who has his shirt up.
George explains that he is wearing a muscle tone enhancer.
Charlie takes the mick, asking if it's legal then calls George
dirty.
In the mess... Adam talks to Frank about Carol, asking if he
thinks she'd go for him, then the bells go down. Both appliances
are called to Canary Wharf.
On the shout ground, Mick tells Sally and Frank to go up. A man
is hanging from the building after he got stuck putting up a
banner proposing to his girlfriend Kerry. Sally and Frank go up
and get lowered down. Frank tells the man to take a line and ends
up getting partly out of the box to clip the man to the line.
Geoff reveals to the watch that he proposed on a double - decker
bus once, but she said no.
Geoff walks into the mess, Lisa is pretending to do one of her
calls. Geoff approaches her, looking, then she turns round,
telling him she was practicing.
Sally goes to leave the station and talks to Mick in the doorway.
He orders her to get an early night, they talk a bit then he goes
back upstairs. Frank then appears, telling Sally it'll never
happen, she pretends she doesn'y know what he's going on about.
PART 3
In the Oliver Twist... Craig is asked if he has a girlfriend,
then is asked to go and talk to the barmaid. He ends up just
asking for another round of drinks.
Shauna arrives home, Mick asks her where she's been as it's late.
She said she'd been shopping for the kitchen. She got a blender
what she already has and a kettle. She says the filament has gone
and Mick stresses that he just made a cup of tea! He asks her how
much she has been spending, she has no idea.
Sally tells Fraser that Debs was on the phone, the agency nurse
hadn't turned up so she has to stay on at work.
Adam and Carol talk on her doorstep about Frank and Adam
questions how she knows him. Carol tells Adam to kiss her, he
does.
Frank and Jimmy are in a room, they talk about Colin. Frank has a
flash - back. Jimmy says Colin's 'Mrs' has arrived and that he
can send her away. Frank says she needs to be with people, so he
goes to leave.
Sally apologises to Fraser about the night before at the pub. He
says it's ok and that everyone gets drunk sometimes. Sally makes
a pass at him and kisses him, he pulls away and moves. He says he
likes her, but not like that.
Sally is in the kitchen, Debs enters. Sally asks if she's ok, she
says she isn't. Debs asks her 'Who does she think she is?'. She
says that Sally treats her flat as a toilet and that she made a
pass at her boyfriend when she was on night shift. Sally says
she's been having a hard time lately, Debs tells her to find
someone else who cares and tells her to find somewhere else to
live.
Sally walks alongside the Thames carrying her things, Shauna
approaches her, offering her a hand, but Sally says she ok, then
lies saying the things are a friends and that she's picking them
up later. Shauna goes into the gym with Sally and attends one of
her classes.
Frank walks around in the background of Colin's funeral.
Shauna talks to Sally in the gym after her class. She talks about
Mick not noticing if she does work out and that she feels like a
fire fighter's widow. She goes onto talk about the statistics for
the divorce rate in the brigade, then says her and Mick hadn't
had sex for 18 months. Sally tells Shauna she really shouldn't be
telling her this, as Mick is her boss.
Adam lies to everyone about him and Carol, saying he was up all
night, Frank tells Adam to show some respect as Sally passes.
Adam sits in the dorm, Frank enters then Adam tells Frank about
what Carol did with her necklace.
Sally stands out on the roof, Mick approaches her and asks her
about her question she was going to ask in the pub the other day.
Sally doesn't answer, telling him that Shauna went to her class
at the gym and she felt like she was trying to warn her off. Mick
doesn't agree, saying Shauna has nothing to be suspicious about.
PART 4
The watch are asleep in the dorms. Sally is awake, she puts on
her lamp, then checks the time and eventually gets up. Frank is
also awake and watches her go.
Sally stands on the roof smoking, Frank approaches asking her for
a light.
Lisa enters the mess and turns on the radio.
Sally and Frank talk. Sally talks about the people she's been out
with either are too loyal to the job or are threatened by the
watch. Her and Frank discuss the watch being a family and Sally
says about needing people outside the watch. Sally kisses Frank
and pleads him.
Lisa leaves the mess with her box of cigarettes and goes up to
the roof, noticing Sally and Frank.
Morning comes, Sally tells Frank not to tell anyone about what
happened. The bells go down...
Sally and Frank run down as the others are in the appliances.
The watch arrive at a small fire, Adam attempts to extinguish the
flames but the hose won't turn on. Frank ends up taking over and
extinguishes the flames.
Back at the station... George approaches Geoff about talking
dirty and asks if he thinks it has it's place. George asks
whether him and Fiona do, then asks about what they say. Geoff
doesn't really want to say anything, then ends up giving in,
until he hears laughing - the rest of the watch are listening in.
Sally asks Frank if she can talk to him. She then moans at him
for making Adam feel small on the shout. Mick then comes out of
his office, asking Sally if he can have a word.
George walks into the dorm, asking Charlie where he was when
Geoff was talking dirty. He notices Charlie with his muscle tone
enhancer on his arse, then rips it off.
Adam arrives at Carol's and apologises for the night before, he
says she just took him by surprise. He asks whether he can go in,
Carol says maybe another time. Carol walks back inside, where
Frank is.
Sally is sitting in a cafe, then Mick enters. They talk, Mick
talks about them formally being mates. Sally tells him to admit
that his marriage isn't working and that it's a sham. He won't,
Sally gets up to leave and he asks her to stay, she tells him to
go and sort his marriage out.
