At the station...
George is sitting in the garden. Adam calls him down, then as
they walk down all the watch group together. They enter the gym,
where Hi - Ho and Melissa are having a contest. Melissa ends up
winning.
The bells go off, pump ladder only, about a man who is trying to
set himself alight.
---------------------
On the way to the scene in the appliance, Adam discusses the
voice from control with Hi - Ho.
On arrival at the scene, a neighbour shows the fire fighters the
way.
Adam axes the door down to the house. They enter in BA kits to
find a man, partly dressed and what he was dressed in was viking
gear with a helmet on his head, which let out flames.
There is a lot of arguement on the scene with the neighbour
moaning about the man doing his stripping in his house when kids
were around and that he was a weirdo. The man ends up going mad
and smashes his neighbours flower pots.
Adam and Hi - Ho talk to the man about stripping and all his gear
etc then Melissa enters the house. Giving the stripper some fire
safety tips.

After the Pump Ladder crew arrive back, Recall checks his shares
online. Adam bets with Recall that he can earn more money than
Recall by closing time the next day.
George enters the mess and asks to talk to Recall, they go out
onto the landing.
George explains to Recall that he had been talking to the police
all morning and asks him about the shares. George ends up giving
Recall a large roll of notes for the shares.
They are both oblivious to the fact that Melissa is watching...

Melissa enters the mess and walks into the kitchen where Hyper
is. She gives him some tips about filing out the IRIS reports,
much to Hypers dislike. She also begins questioning George and
know's Kelly (George's ex - wife's) name, when she'd only been
there a while.
Hyper is later talking to Sally and becomes suspicious about
Melissa knowing Kelly's name.

The watch check the appliances over, Griggs arrives after a
while. Melissa greets him but he doesn't reply anything.
Maggie appears downstairs, questioning why there is a fish in her
fridge and isn't happy with it being there after all her troubles
with Environmental Health. George admits it's his and that he's
planning a surprise meal for Andie.
Coleman appears near the appliance area and calls George...

In Coleman's office... Griggs reveals to Coleman and Georgev that
the woman who's broth was 'stolen' won't stop her complaint
against George. He later reveals that he is transfering George to
staff duties and the end of the rota.

George is in the gym punching a punch bag, Sally enters. She asks
him what Griggs wanted. George doesn't really say much and ends
up leaving the gym.

On the landing... Geoff tells Coleman about George exchanging the
cash with Recall, after Melissa had told him.
Later on Coleman spots George in the locker room and offers his
help and listening to him.
At the end of the shift everyone is leaving. The lads invite
Coleman over to the Oliver Twist for a drink, but Coleman tells
them he's busy. He reveals that he is going Ballroom dancing.

In the Oliver Twist... Adam is instructing Melissa, how to do the
perfect snooker shot. He's very close to her and Melissa ends up
hitting him with the snooker queue, where it hurts!
Later on, Elaine tells Adam that she's in trouble. She reveals
that the food poisoning actually started in the pub and that she
had been throwing out a lot of food.
Maggie arrives and thinks that Elaine is going Ballroom dancing
with Coleman. Elaine denies it, as she wasn't going anyway, then
tells Maggie where the ballroom dancing was being held.

Sally is in the locker room getting ready to leave when Sean
enters. He reveals that he's got a date but his car won't start.
Sally agrees to go down and look at it.
She notices something needs changing, but she's be able to get
him started for then. They talk about dates and he reveals that 3
- years - ago, his fiancée never turned up to their wedding.

Geoff arrives home... The house is a mess and he finds Fiona
slightly asleep up in bed. She's still dressed in her pyjamas.
They talk about going out like they planned, but Fiona is unsure
about leaving Eve.

Coleman and Alison arrive at the ballroom dancing hall. Maggie
had already arrived and approach them both. She asks about a
dance and Coleman excuses him for the dance with Alison and
dances with Maggie.

In a restaurant... Geoff and Fiona had just had their meal. Geoff
talks about them saying they are family friendly on the door but
they probably won't be and it may be hard for them to get tables
when Eve would begin to go out with them. Geoff talks about
having a desert, but Fiona wants to leave.

Coleman and Alison dance, she obviously hadn't done it before so
he tells her how to.

At Andie and George's house... Andie and George are eating the
fish dinner that George prepared. Andie is really impressed and
George gives her the necklace, which she loves. Andie senses that
something is wrong with George, but when she questions it he
won't tell her. Finally, he tells her that he's tranfering to
staff duties.

The ballroom dancing finishes and Alison kisses Coleman.

Andie calls George and enters their living room, he's gone...

The next day... Adam and George compare how much money they had
made over the day before. Adam tells Hi - Ho that he had begun
searching from the voice from control.
Maggie approaches them all, telling them, without mentioning any
names, about Coleman and Alison the night before.
Geoff enters the mess, telling them all that role - call will be
in five minutes. He also tells Hyper that Melissa will be taking
role - call instead of him.
Later on some of the watch had grouped in the locker area. George
mutters something and they all look at him, taking advantage of
the opportunity, he tells them that he is transfering to staff
duties at the end of the rota.
Geoff's voice comes over the intercom, telling them that role -
call is in two minutes.

Melissa reads out everyone's names during role - call, but in the
middle, the bells go down...
There's an RTA, the Pump Ladder only is needed.
The watch arrive at the scene, they notice the vehicle is one of
their own - Shadbrook's Turntable Ladder.
They approach the appliance and Flatty and Liam are inside. The
paramedics get called over but they are trapped. George has to
cut through certain scaffolding poles. Flatty begins to give up
hope for Liam's survival. To keep him focussed, George questions
Flatty on West Ham and while the sawing is going on, Flatty
admits that it was him, the person who stole the brotch.

The Pump Ladder crew arrive back from the shout, Coleman
approaches George and tells him that Flatty will be ok, although
he'll be facing a direct dismissal. Coleman also apologises and
admits to George that he had doubts about his innocense.
Later in the locker area... Recall and Sally also apologise to
George about not directly believing his story about the brotch.
He reveals to them, that the money he gave to Recall for the
shares was his wedding ring.
Adam and Hi - Ho enter the locker area, Hi - Ho admits that he is
meeting Kate, the voice from control, in the pub.

Everyone is getting ready to leave the station... Alison enters
the appliance area and asks if Coleman is about. She's told he's
in his office and she walks up there.
Sally, Melissa, Adam and Hi - Ho walk across the road towards the
pub.
Maggie leaves the station and notices Elaine throwing out a load
of food, she eyes her suspiciously from her distance.

Maggie enters the pub and Elaine finally tells Maggie that the
food poisoning began at the pub and not in her kitchen at the
station. Maggie is furious that she hadn't told her sooner and
makes Elaine promise to clear her name with Coleman.
Kate enters the pub and approaches Adam and Hi - Ho. Adam offers
the buy the drinks. He then sits down with Kate and begins to
flirt with her. Hi - Ho is upset and goes to leave. Kate leaves
Adam and approaches Hi - Ho, Hi - Ho then decides to stay and
Kate excuses herself from Adam and goes to talk to Hi - Ho.
Recall approaches Adam and in the corner of the bar, he tells him
that the shares had gone bust and that they had lost everything
including George's wedding ring money. Recall asks Adam for help
seeing as he's earned more money than his shares. Adam admits
that he was lying out making all that money.

Hyper is sitting in the office at the station filling out
paperwork. Hyper notices a file and opens it, Melissa enters the
office and claims the folder. Hyper reads through, she has a
record of each and everyone of them, all with bad things to say
and all on professional paper. Hyper suspects it is for Geoff,
but Melissa keeps on saying it's just for her personal reference.
Hyper reminds her that working in the brigade means working in a
team.
