BRIEF: Vaseline was a bit of a ladies man and a serial womaniser! He had been married three times, all to women called Marion!
In the film, Vaseline was very sexist and racist, but he mellowed slightly when the series began.
FAMILY: Vaseline was married to Marion #3 and they had a son, who Marion #3 and Marion #1 decided to name Damien, after the son of the devil!
ROMANCE: Vaseline had been married three times, all to women called Marion! He also had a string of affairs and all of his wives never seemed to know where he was!
TOUGH TIMES: Marion #1 turned up on Vaseline's doorstep while he was out and Marion #3 took pity on her and invited her to stay! The two women then continued to bully him!
Vaseline's boots caught on fire at a shout in Series 1, after he had used them while moonlighting as a gardener and he spilt sodium chlorite on them! In the film, he also had another gardening-related accient, where the burned a woman's shed down!
Vaseline was killed on a routine call to the Surrey Docks. After a vehicle had accidently reversed onto a ledge, then into the Thames, Vaseling, along with George and Bayleaf, went down in BA to rescue the driver. However, Vaseline's BA set became dislodged under water and he drowned.
