(ITV) LONDON'S BURNING, BEGINS MID JANUARY

Bluewatch is back with a brand new series as well as a shiny new fire station equipped with up - to - date technology. The 16 - part series finds the team's personal lives just as hot and dangerous as the fires they tackle. The show returns as Geoffrey "Poison" Pearce (Michael Garner) is settling down to married life and preparing for fatherhood with Fiona (Helen Anderson). There is a new addition to the team in the form of Adam (Sam Callis), a twenty - something Jack - the - lad who is set to ruffle a few feathers. Former Family Affairs star Liz crowther, who plays Annie Hart, also joins the cast as councillor Alison Hemings. All in all, a new look for an old favourite.
