NAME: Nick 'Zorba' Georgiadis
RANK: Station Officer (Series 4 - 10), A.D.O. (Series 11)
ACTOR: Andrew Kazamia
SERIES: 4 - 11

BRIEF: Nick took up the position of Station Officer after Tate's departure. On Nick's first day, the Watch all got off on the wrong foot with him, with Bayleaf giving him the direction to Hallam's office and not taking him up there himself. Nick was not impressed.

Nick soon started to stamp authority into the Watch and did not care if it made him the most unpopular Station Officer in London.

The Watch decided to do some digging. They discovered that Nick had been stationed at three different stations in the past eight years, being higher up the promotion ladder after each transfer.

Nick earned the nickname 'Zorba', because of his Greek-Cypriot origins.

FAMILY: Nick's uncle Demetri owned a restaurant and his uncle Yanni was in the rag trade. They continued to pressure Nick into marrying his cousin Ariadne, but after Nick refused, Ariadne married Petros.

ROMANCE: Nick had an affair with Ariadne and she had his child, Costas.

In Series 9, while on a Brigade Research and Development conference in Tenby, Nick met Dutch Fire fighter Marianne. A couple of months later, Marianne visited Blackwall on an exchange trip. Nick was surprised as he was expecting a male Dutch Fire fighter! Nick and Marianne's relationship developed, although she had to return to Holland.

In Series 10, Nick went on an exchange trip to Holland, where he saved a man from drowning in a river, by jumping in and pulling him out. Marianne was not impressed, but it impressed her crew!

After returning to London, Marianne turned up on Nick's doorstep. They ended up moving in together, living with Nick's son Costas.

TOUGH TIMES: After Ariadne died, after sustaining injuries after falling down the stairs, when pregnant, Nick gave up on the World.

Nick lost his life in Series 11, while he was trying to save Marianne and Costas, in a fire at a cinema. Nick and Dan Barratt were leading Marianne and Costas, along with a group of people to safety, when the ceiling caved in. Nick pushed Marianne out of the way and the ceiling came crushing down on top of him. Nick died instantly.
