JACK MORGAN

NAME: Jack Morgan
RANK: Fire fighter
ACTOR: Clive Wood
SERIES: 9 - 11

BRIEF: Jack transferred from his previous station after something bad happened. He was also ex-Navy, but something bad happened in the Navy as well. After Hallam died, Jack began to believe that bad luck followed him around. Pit Bull also pointed this out and Jack responded by punching him!

FAMILY: Jack was married to Linda, but they divorced years previous. They had a son, Stephen, who lived with Linda and her husband Ian. Linda packed Stephen off to boarding school, which did not please Jack. Stephen didn't like it either and walked out of school and turned up at Blackwall!

ROMANCE: In Series 9, Jack dated Nicky, who worked behind the bar at the Ship Aground, much to the dislike of Jaffa who warned Jack to keep away from her. Jack also took a liking to Carole and liked the idea that she was jealous of him and Nicky. Jack also saw various other women and also had an affair with his ex-wife Linda.

TOUGH TIMES: Jack revealed to Carole what exactly happened at his previous station. His Watch were on standby at White City, when they were called out to a shout. Him and one of his mate; Phil, were sent in with BA and after they had left the building, they were told to go back in by the Station Officer, even though Phil's air was low. They ended up getting lost, as Phil's air got lower and lower and the low air signal began to bleep. Jack left Phil to search for an exit, to find a fire exit chained shut. Jack used up the last of his air, in an attempt to kick the door down. Both Jack and Phil ended up slumped down on the floor waiting, until their air ran out. Phil died and Jack slumped unconscious.

The owner was fined £1,000 and when the inquiry went ahead, Jack revealed the truth and the Station Officer was kicked out of the service. He then felt he could not stay at the Watch, so he left. In Series 9, the Station Officer committed suicide.

Jack planned to start a new life with ex-wife Linda and Stephen. But when Ian, Linda's husband found out, he took them away to America. Jack started to fight for custody of Stephen and as Stephen left for America, Jack followed.
