LONDON'S Burning star Liza Walker married musician Donnie Hardwidge in Little Missenden Parish Church last Saturday.
The couple wed close to the home of the brides father, former 1960 Grand Prix racing driver and financier, Johnny Walker, who used to race Stirling Moss and Jim Clarke.
The brides mother Desirie and father, who have remarried, were present. The grooms father and son Jackson, four, shared the role of best man.
Following a traditional service, the couple read messages in the sunny churchyard and carefully opened a silver box from which a variety of butterflies flew in all directions to the flowers and trees surrounding the congregation.
The bride wore white with a jewelled crucifix and the groom sported tails and a green cravat.
The couple were accompanied by Donnies son when they were driven in an Aston Martin sporting a skull and crossbones flag to the reception, which took place at The Red Lion pub on the River Misbourne.
Liza Walker has achieved prominence through performances on television, the stage and in many films in addition to her fashion modelling.
Her recent TV roles include Shauna, the manic depressive wife of Station Officer Mick Callaghan in Londons Burning, as well as appearing in The Bill and Inspector Morse.
Donnie Hardwidge (born Matthew) together with Phelim Byrne perform as the band Day One.
