Fear Fighter

Heather beats phobia to join Blue Watch

London's Burning sexy new star Heather Peace kept a secret from TV Bosses at her audition - she is terrified of heights!

And she only conquered her fear after winning the part of Blue Watch newcomer Sally Fields in the latest series (Saturday, ITV, 9pm).

Heather, 23, says: "I had to climb up a 40ft ladder in training for the show and I was frozen with fear. Everyone was encouraging me and I felt such a fool just standing there.

"But I forced myself to go up - and I went up and down another four or five times just to prove I could do it."

Heather is on our cover with co-stars Richard Walsh (Sicknote) and Glen Murphy (George). And on the left she flanked by two other new faces - Brad Gorton, who plays Dan Barratt, and Jim Alexander as Joe Walker.

The first dramatic "shouts" for the new team include a man trapped in a drain after an underground blast and a major warehouse blaze.
