CAROLE WEBB

NAME: Carole Webb
RANK: Sub Officer
ACTOR: Zoe Heyes
SERIES: 9-10

BRIEF: Carole joined Blue Watch in Series 9, as a replacement for John Hallam, transferring from the Brigade's Health and Safety, where she was doing a desk job.

FAMILY: Carole was married to Martin, who was an ex-fire fighter, who had to retire from the Brigade after being run over when drunk. In Series 10 a police officer turned up at Blackwall in search on Carole. He informed her that her car had been reported stolen and had been involved in a hit and run. When returning home that evening, Carole discovered the truth. Martin had taken the car out, while still drunk from the night before and hit a cyclist, before dumping the car half way to his mother's house. In the following days and after a heated argument outside a pub, Carole returned home to find her flat trashed and Martin had gone.

Martin fled to Canada and Carole filed for a divorce.

ROMANCE: After Martin left her; Carole had a brief relationship with A.D.O. Patrick Davis, whom she had previous worked with at Health and Safety. He told her that he had left his wife and kids, however, while shopping at Tesco, Carole spotted Patrick his wife and children. Following this, Carole took her revenge and turned up at Patrick's house, while his wife was home, with a declaration for him to sign, stating that he was rubbish in bed! She also threatened that if he told anyone, she would fax it to all fire station's in London!

Carole was attracted to Jack Morgan, but nothing happened. Jack made a pass at her in the Series 9 finale, after approaching at her about the comment of him 'jumping over walls', after she had spotted him with Nicki. Jack asked Carole if she was jealous and she attempted to throw him out of her office. A fixed stare was interrupted by the bells going down.

In Series 10, Carole walked a drunken Jack out of the Ship Aground after a confrontation with Jack. As they stopped outside, they shared a moment and Carole nearly gave in, but pulled away at the last minute, telling Jack she was 'sick of drunks'.

TOUGH TIMES: It took a while for Carole to fit in at Blackwall. Taking Hallam's place was a tough job and Geoff Pearce didn't make things any easy, when he took an immediate disliking to her, but in reality, he was jealous because she a higher ranking officer.

Carole left Blackwall to become at Station Officer at Upham in the suburbs. Carole had worked at a neighbouring station in her probation period and nearly resigned over the transfer. In Series 10, Carole revealed to both her friend Katie and Jack separately; that she was nearly raped one night when studying.
